Guru Meditation Error: Core 0 panic’ed (IllegalInstruction). _eventCallback(): Event: 4 - STA_CONNECTED ![]() However now it’s changed and looks like this - I don’t know what I changed. i2cProcQueue(): Busy Timeout start=0x7acd, end=0x7aff, =50, max=50 error=1 ![]() i2cDumpDqData(): Debug Buffer not Enabled Here is what the error feed from the serial monitor looked like: It seems that I can’t get the LCD to update without the I2C data getting “corrupted” (?), presumably by FreeRTOS (it all works fine in a regular arduino loop). I’ve got a few tasks set up, including one which updates all of the updatable LCD data (temp, time, connection status). It all works fine just throwing it in an arduino loop, minus the fact that the clock doesn’t display smoothly (doesn’t quite update regularly enough), which got me looking at FreeRTOS (also was interested to learn about it). ![]() On this LCD I want to display the current time (using NTP), the current temperature and whether or not the esp has an internet connection. In short, I’ve got an ESP32 development board (NodeMCU) and it’s connected to an LCD1602 lcd displaymodule via an I2C module.
